The Goose Pond Scout Reservation staff finished up their 99th consecutive summer camp season this past August. Roughly 1200 scouts were instructed skills from basic knots and civic lessons to important lifesaving skills. Order of the Arrow members were treated to a re-dedication ceremony on Thursday nights, followed by a fantastic feast. The Order of the Arrow has a rich relation to local scout camps, and are often the backbone of service to Goose Pond Scout Reservation. Many projects are going on right now at Goose Pond preparing it for its 100th anniversary, including a new entrance, new dining hall pavilion, relocation of the Cooks Cabin, and the continued construction of the Dan Beard Cabin. If you have an interest of serving on the 2020 Goose Pond staff, complete and submit the camp staff application which is now available on the council website.
